Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for the adherence of processes and procedures to the Gelest Quality System by auditing and issuing non-conformances as needed.
In addition, the Quality Engineer will work closely with other groups within Gelest to aid in continuous improvement projects.
Summary of Essential Tasks:
A cents EUR cents Host customer audits and prepare corrective actions to findings and observations.
A cents EUR cents Conduct internal audits of the Gelest Quality System.
A cents EUR cents Manage the non-conformance/corrective action system.
A cents EUR cents Attend meetings of the Quality Systems Steering Team (QSST) and fulfill responsibilities.
A cents EUR cents Review/sign new batch records.
A cents EUR cents Daily retrieve and log refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
A cents EUR cents Aid in the development of continuous improvement activities.
A cents EUR cents Ensure customer requests related to quality are sent to the appropriate parties and follow up to ensure completion.
A cents EUR cents Manage records and archive files.
A cents EUR cents Maintain ISO 9001 compliance for certification.
A cents EUR cents Assist in the development and execution of six sigma and lean manufacturing projects.
A cents EUR cents Perform statistical and mathematical data analysis related to continuous improvement projectsJob
Qualifications:
A cents EUR cents Training in Quality Management or equivalent experience.
A cents EUR cents Technical writing skills.
A cents EUR cents Training as an internal or lead auditor.
A cents EUR cents Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
A cents EUR cents Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering preferred.
A cents EUR cents Degree/Certification in six sigma and lean manufacturing or equivalent experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
